Hopefully an end to it, although I imagine he’s sat at home fuming now. Really don’t know what his beef is, it was years ago and water under the bridge

The bit that made me laugh was that he questioned an admin decision.
The usual punishment for that was a ban, was it not?

Just caught up with this as I’ve been away. Thanks for acting to get his comments deleted.
For info, I have kept screenshots of all the old forum posts where he threatened to and then closed down his forum plus I have copies of all his emails to me so have a body of evidence of his antics if required.

Me too. The good thing is that the thread now shows him as being not quite so innocent. SiG would probably not have started if he didn’t close MSR down. He only has himself to blame.

Whatever it was Tony there will be one very angry person sat at home. Shame really as I use to enjoy the racing and numbers were good. John met Liam in the flesh and said he was a nice guy and didn’t seem anything like the way he came over on line.

John met Liam in the flesh and said he was a nice guy and didn’t seem anything like the way he came over on line. The racing was great. A good bunch of guys, made for (mostly) enjoyable race nights. The Caterham mod was fun. It is a shame that the rFactor2 mod is not quite as good.

It would be nice to race Caterhams again though. I was out in mine last week, prior to ‘lockdown’, drove about 4 miles and the top of the throttle pedal broke, where the cable enters/fits. Just fitted a new one, Redline are super, and I can’t go for a drive to try it

As cageyh said, the rF2 version is not as good, in particular there is only the 1.4 engine version. I would think that's it's not too difficult to do different engines and gearboxes though I don't remember anyone doing it. Tyres other than ZV3 Ditchfinders will be more difficult.
E&OE - it's a long time since I tried the mod.

The other Caterham option is Automobilista 2 when it comes out.

Or Project Cars (1 or 2). Cheap on Humble Bundle currently.
