What about frame rates Geoff?

I'm not 100% sure. The graphics software is saying average of 40fps. It's okay, a little jumpy at times but I think I could live with it. Andy mentioned earlier you wont get more than 45. Card and CPU are running hot but not much more than RF2. Changing the graphic settings in game doesn't seem to make much difference, so really just need to find a balance.

Cheers. A bit better. Steering feels a bit unresponsive.

Not really, every time I’ve been on it’s been for racing. I’ll hopefully get a chance later today and have a look around some cars and tracks

Okay, just spent a little time driving the Super-kart around a couple of normal tracks i.e. not Go Kart ones. Brilliant fun and a blast to drive. Force feedback is excellent and even the audio tries to replicate wind on the helmet . Kart is very easy to control and catch, even if your involved in a tap with another Kart. It comes equipped with a 6 speed box and clutch, so normal car controls apply. Obviously steering inputs are pretty instantaneous, but not normal Go Kart quick. Unfortunately there is a down side, if you end up in the sand it would be race over but, back to the positives, we could purposely select tracks lacking sandy run off's . Finally, tyre degradation (down to 71% FL after 5 laps) is what you would expect, so depending on race length you would also have to look after them. I think they would make a great series over the Summer . We could select any full sized track we wanted, as speed wise there fast and have no issues. This would allow the use of some of the lesser know tracks and I'd be happy to put a list up. Finally, it may not suit John , after 5 laps with the Ai it felt like I'd just come off the real thing and my shoulders were aching .

They are certainly different! Agree about the tyre deg with the softs I was losing 15% a lap at Silverstone GP circuit but I was struggling to keep it straight, even so the hards might be the better option. Not sure I agree with the easy to catch bit but I've been away for a while so probably me.
Which engine were you using Tony? I only tried the 4 stroke and I went for the middle FFB of the choices?

Didn't know there was a difference . I picked a car and drove it default other than soft tyres. I've also had no issue going straight and seem to catch the back end 9 times out of 10 . Think with a little more practise you could easily steer the car on just throttle. I've just finished two races at Spa with an average time of around 2.28min, which isn't bad considering no real practise or set up. For comparison, I'm around 2.20 in the GT2/3 cars. I was also catching the back end through Eau Rouge at 125mph Forgot to say, any chance you could put it on a server instead of maybe the hotlap one Simon? Would give people a chance to see what there like and make their own judgements and allow a few of us to jump on together through the day (for all those sat at home).

Unfortunately can't join "package unavailable" Where did you download the Super kart from Simon? maybe a different version to the one I'm using. At least I assume it's the kart as I certainly have Croft.
