So I think my Corsair H110i GTX is broken.
Today, the temps on the CPU just climb when not under load. I've had high temps for a while, but assumed that it was requiring some new thermal paste. So today, I removed the old paste and put new paste down. This has just made it worse. The coolant temp is 47c that is way too high. CPU temps climb into the 90s and then I shut the PC down.
Pump says it's spinning at 3000rpm. Fans are spinning at max. But the air above the radiator is not warm and you'd expect heat to be pushed out of the radiator.
I suspect that there's a flow issue. Something is blocking it all internally. Turning the case around to remove the cooler etc, just probably shifted the blockage around and now the flow has got worse.
So I could try and RMA it, but it's coming up to 4yrs old. I think there's a 5yr RMA on Corsair Hydro products. Probably best to buy something else.

I would still RMA it, as it does have a warranty.

New CPU cooler is in. The 240 size is a much better fit allowing the case parts to fit easier and the rear fan more room. I realised that I had replaced the original fans on the broken cooler a while ago as they were noisy and rattling. I didn't keep the broken fan parts from before. So no RMA on this one.
The upgraded 140 Phantek fans have been moved off the old cooler radiator to the front of the case. So I now have 2 quiet large 140mm fans at the front and a 140mm case fan at the rear. The radiator has 2 x 120mm fans pushing air through the radiator.
So far at idle the CPU package temp is around 23c that's a lot lower than I had even with the old cooler working. I'll have to run some stress tests later.

Good news, but it is winter time, so the ambient temp may be lower?
