This is really for Scoops as fingers crossed he may be able to assist me. My left actuator piston separated this evening, throwing me into the wall whilst nearly knocking my cup of tea over . Anyway once you stop laughing I’m trying to find out what my next step should be. It doesn’t look damaged and seems like the aluminium sleeve was originally pressed into the copper piston. I’ve mailed Sim Experience hoping for an answer or the possibility of a buying a new one, but as their an American company I’ll have to wait a little while. So, a couple of questions, does anyone know of a strong enough glue that may possibly work with both aluminium and copper/bronze? Or, where I could possibly buy a new or used actuator.? Finally any other ideas gratefully accepted. I have a bottle of Locktite blue left over from my electric bike build, any thoughts on if this would work?
