Can I perhaps go for another car? You know one who’s brakes don’t fail 2 laps in!

Sure. Do you want a random pick from what's available? I think that Osella should be retired. 2 brake failures in 2 races isn't good.

Actually thinking about it I may know the cause. Leave it with me and I’ll look into it and test a bit over the weekend.

Not sure sub 2 mins is possible for me . Back in the March and driving flat out (or so it seems) best I think will be a 2min 4 or 5sec lap, but happy to keep trying .

I haven't tried yet, but one Tyrrell didn't qualify!

I don't think I can get a sub 2 minute lap. I may be able to get a bit quicker, but a sub 2 minute needs more corner speed in the middle sector. With these cars that can be difficult to judge.
And Eau Rouge is flat out in 6th at the moment. I'm guessing Wrighty is running super low wing again.

Tried Alain Prost’s car and it’s a bloody beast. Very quick, but also difficult to pedal round. Think with a little practise you may be able to drop below the 2 min barrier. Certainly a challenge Scoops if your still undecided on new car .

Si, "Eau Rouge is flat out in 6th" ... oh dear, I'm feathering it in 5th! What downforce are you running?

12 on the rear. It's about positioning the car correctly. Initially I was 5th, but then I went for it in 6th. Just get the turn in correct and it's actually a gentle right and left in the end.

No wonder F1 cars were expensive to run:

Unfortunately it wasn’t me, my Son and Son in Law we’re having a challenge. Funny old thing neither of them finished a lap or recorded a time better than 2.40 . Although the best part. Before I set it up for them I increased the FF on the wheel , you should of heard them moaning (sounded a little like me at Daytona ), both had to keep taking there hands off the wheel to get the feeling back into their forearms.
