Tried Alain Prost’s car and it’s a bloody beast. Very quick, but also difficult to pedal round. Think with a little practise you may be able to drop below the 2 min barrier. Certainly a challenge Scoops if your still undecided on new car . I’m sticking with what I’ve got as I know the cause of the brake failure so should be good to do three laps !

I thought you were driving smoother than normal Dunki .

Lol, I would not call it smooth! Anyhow, my CPU was getting to 75 degc think that may have caused rf2 to crash. One handed steering with these cars is tricky. I have done some testing, CPU hitting 62 just booting up etc. Maybe time for some new thermal paste...

If you're changing the thermal paste then you may want to look at your cpu cooler too. Maybe an AIO cooler? Some are pretty good value now.

The AIO ones are easy to install, if your case has the space for the fan. Andrew \ Kev and me all have AIO CPU coolers sig-racing.boards.net/thread/840/water-cooling-installation-tempsThe Corsair AIOs come with thermal paste pre applied, so you'd only need to clean off the old paste.

I actually remembered to record a race this time. But that was when we got to race 2. Notice how I don't speak. Mainly because I'm concentrating so much. Out of my other competitors: Scoops - DNS Dunki - DNS Jiff - World record number of Stop Go penalties Wrighty - 3 wheels on his wagon John - Having to deal with a turbo car spun. Sort of how F1 was back then I suppose.

Cheers for the info, will check that topic at do some research. Second race sounded messy. Will watch video. Cheers
