As the summer break allows us to do something different we are trying a new mod and track neither of which have been tried before so it's new for all of us. As it's a one off the server hasn't been setup to auto down load so please subscribe via steam at the links below The car is getting good reviews as a close approximation to real life and the track is one used in the Blancpain series which we will be looking to replicate in the S397 GT3 cars later in the year. Where a car \ mod seems appropriate this can be enabled. The MR1 cars have both slick and wet weather tyres, so this will be enabled for tonights event. The weather data is pulled from www.wunderground.com but I'm sure other global weather data places will have similar information if you want to check. Voice Chat: Please can you join Discord chat tonight too as we are looking at moving towards this. It's quite simple to use. Please check the sticky thread on Discord.

Forgot to add the roll bar is removed in tuning. Seems odd but that’s where it is in real life apparently?

Tricky little cars, along side a tricky track, good combination Cars feel a little weird at first (probably more to do with coming from the F1’s) but easy to get use to. Like the way you get front wheel shudder whilst cornering under acceleration, although no torque steer as 1st gear is gone in a flash .

If you use Chrome, it has a translate option. Works quite well on those pages:
GT SILHOUETE MR1 The MR1 is a small GT of tubular chassis, central engine and rear traction 100% developed for competitions in lane, being able to receive almost any body of compact cars, like Fiat 500. The project was designed by Metalmoro the time of the partnership with Fiat as a car to be used in an entry category for the Copa Trofeo Linea. With the end of the investments of the Italian headquarters of the company for investments in competition in the world the project remained alive in the hands of Metalmoro, who evolved the concept and could then exploit all the potential that the package had to offer.
SPORT PROTOTYPE MR18 This is the MR18, the most advanced racing car ever made by Metalmoro, and consequently one of the most technological national racing cars in Brazilian history. Continuing the company's tradition of innovating and creating new standards for Brazilian motoring, the MR18 is a totally new project of everything that Metalmoro has done until today, bringing advances in all areas of the car, but using all the experience and knowledge gained from winning solutions from our other cars so far.

Oh where's the fun in telling Wrighty that! Although as he's not replied I am expecting he's popped out for a Portuguese English dictionary

Never mind that, I thought they were front wheel drive . The driving charteristics of the car certainly come across as FWD. By the way, the car has three levels of downforce (default set at 2) and make a big difference to the car.

Wouldn’t fret too much. Track is tricky, but doesn’t take long to get to grips with, car feels weird at first but, you soon get use to it. Leave the rear downforce at two, one is nearly undrivable and three a little slow, rest is not far from default. I’ve tried lots of permutations and finally settled on my settings so happy to pass them across when we are on the server . Overtaking will be pretty difficult, but also getting it off the line isn’t easy so should be fun

The practice server is down due to power outage. This shouldn’t prevent us racing this Friday but there wont be a practice server running unless I can sort a second server in the next day or so.
Worse case is you can practice offline.
