My race rig PC is getting on a bit, and needs to be upgraded. It’s running an 8 year old i5 3570k with a mild overclock. Although it runs rF2 ok for now, it’s not going to cut it with VR so I’m going to build a completely new PC for racing based on the new Ryzen 3700X which comes out next month. The PC will be brand new from the ground up with a fresh install of Windows 10.
I’m completely happy with building the PC, but I’ve never done a fresh install of rF2. Any issues I should be aware of? I assume I just install Steam and let it do the rest, backing up the rF2 library and subscribed tracks, mods etc?

I believe that that should work. There should be no issues no it is in steam.

Great thanks. It’s going to get expensive as I’m on the cusp of ordering a new wheel as well as rebuilding the PC....

Check the "Packages" folder. This will have any manually installed mods. But really just let Steam do it. Anything you have subscribed to will reinstall.
One thing you may want to check \ backup is your setups that are in your player folder. This will also have any control settings etc.

Andrew your set ups should be easy to replicate, just take off the rear ARB and make it as slidey as possible
