Having had a brief discussion with Si re paid content I started to wonder what anyone else has in paid content in rF2?
I have a fair amount of paid content and have just purchased the ring and the 911 cup car.
I have only run it a couple of times but I like this 911 and thought it might be good for a future series (should I ever get time).
I also have the GT3 pack we ran in a series, the Reiza pack which I’ve not really had a chance to try yet much and Sebring.
What if anything paid do others have and what do you think of it?

I resisted buying the GT3 pack and the GTE pack but succumbed eventually, then haven't used them except for the SiG races. Despite the hype over Sebring I didn't buy it because I hate the track, I haven't bought the 'Ring or the 911 because I don't drive the versions I already have. The Reiza pack didn't appeal apart from perhaps Imola. But really, they're small change compared with what some people spend on wheels and stuff. It's an odd business model that relies on selling new content when I want to pay for an rF3 with some of the several shortcomings of that 6 year-old game fixed.

I would like to get the S397 Le Mans and maybe the Endurance cars. But the the free Endurance mod we run is really good, so maybe just Le Mans will be enough.
Would people buy the official Le Mans?

Considering how much £ I put into this hobby getting Le Mans would be fine by me considering how much we use it.

I don't mind buying content for a season, as long as the cost is within reason.
Oooh a poet!

I’m not so sure.
It’s a big assumption but assuming they are confident upon the end product new UI improves shaders etc etc maintaining interest in the product makes sense. On top of that creating income to fund development of the future product. If they ‘abandoned’ rF2 for several years to produce a new gem sim racer they would likely have lost what fan base they had.
Either way it will be interesting to see what the future brings to sim racing.

Certainly odd when compared to the F1 series where you have to buy the whole game (at nearly twice the price of rF2) every year.

I'm sure I paid for something (maybe Endurance cars) but I'm buggered if I can remember exactly what.
