I know some of you lads like your ‘softer’ rugby union code but, because I’m sat on my arse doing nothing, I’ve just watched the Japan v Scotland game. Wow what a game

Agree mate, missed golf today to stay in and watch it. Although, after the initial start of the second half I was a little disappointed I’d wasted the day, but things certainly improved . Hope they beat South Africa. Not too sure about the softer game though, Johnathan Davis was much better at League than Union and he was a right soft shite

Where are the rucks in the “oop north” version? ”Oh, you have tackled me”. Let me wriggle around a bit and stand up, somI can give the ball to my mate....

Kev, rugby league is more of a thinking mans game rather than I’ve got the ball and I’ll batter my way through

What position did you play John?
Remember where Kev lives is the Rugby Union centre of France so you are unlikely to sway his views😄

Even Andy Farrell knew where his bread was buttered, and it wasn’t League😁. Brought his son up to make sure he was successful at Union, so yes I agree, he was certainly thinking at the time👍😉

Me play rugby, I’d get battered When my dad was young he played rugby league for Swinton but his playing days were cut short through an accident he had. He then just watched the game and coming from Wigan both my dad and my mum took me home and away watching Wigan. It was 1966 when I think I really pissed my dad off when he realised I was more into football than rugby . I’ve been watching United ever since. In the days of John Carlton I actually watched United, Wigan RL and Orrell RU, remember Orrell, they were a decent side. Actually, my best mate at that time played for Orrell. I must admit though, I did enjoy the Japan v Scotland game and I will be watching England tomorrow
