Sorry if it sounds like a Syfy movie . Anyway, whilst watching a YouTube video of an alien driving an MX5 round Bathurst, I noticed his brake and clutch coming on at exactly the same time with the same amount of pressure every time he approached a bend. Obviously he could be using the clutch to change down whilst braking, but they were exactly matched, every time . What I mean is the clutch indication bar went down exactly the same amount as the brake pedal for exactly the same amount of time, whereas I would of thought the clutch would of been fully depressed, rather than half or three quarter of the way down (same distance as the brake travel). So any theories, or is this some kind of gaming cheat?

That would take the engine braking out of the equation?
You could map the brake button to two keys? To do this but is it worth it?

Hmm, well maybe the input that you were seeing wasn't correct. You can't assume it. Maybe link the video and we'll make a judgement on it. Anyway, what's more important: Laptime or Immersion?

Hopefully this will work: youtu.be/B9M5uWXsYYo Lots of Sim guys trying to work out how he’s doing it in the comments. You need to watch the pedal indicators bottom left.

I guess it depends if iRacing models engine braking? and if iRacing MX5s need full clutch to engage a gear. I guess they don't. Maybe only partial clutch is modelled.
But it seems that he knows he needs clutch to downshift and is just using a similar amount of pressure on brake \ clutch when doing so. Maybe he finds it easier than pressing 2 pedals at differing amounts.
