Minis might be fun?
The new update adds several Classic cars, brings the popular Mini Challenge JCW as it is in the top class of the UK Mini series, two Kart circuits, along the usual package of new features, fixes & improvements.
One of these features is the initial revision of the HEAD MOVEMENT setting for cockpit cameras (renaming what was before "WORLD MOVEMENT"), although users will still have the option to use the original legacy head movement if they so prefer - please check the descriptions in-game for more details as to how best configure this option to your preference.

Been driving it a bit, but pissed off with the Superlight. Every time I try to use it, it appears half buried into the track, doesn’t matter if it’s on track or pits, single player or on line . Car won’t move with wheel pulling hard to one side. Once I press return to pits my headset goes crazy and I have to exit quickly. No one else seems to have the same problem and all a little weird, especially as it stopped doing it, then re appeared as quickly as it disappeared. Tried twice putting a topic up on the forum, but typically hundreds of views and not a single reply☹️. All other cars, including the other Caterhams fine, just the Superlight, any ideas Simon?

Just tried it, unfortunately nothings changed with the Superlight . Thoughts on the new cars... un decided, although the Mini is pants, unless you like going straight on with full lock. Not a fan of FWD but it borders on being daft.

Thanks Simon I’ll give them a read. Just trying them out really and only the BMW. Must say, I really enjoyed the old BMW M3 and Mercedes Cosworth and plenty of lobbies to drive them on

Also have a look at the update thread on the forum same issue with some other cars so looks like an issue with individual wheels. Some suggestions to delete the ffiles in the AMS2 documents folder.

The BMW mini looks like it defaults to wet tyres? Might have been the cause of your problems Tony?

New Mini is OK. Driveable and would be close racing. Old Mini is WTF??? I have auto pit controls on. As soon as I exit the pits at Donington it spears off to the right. Crazy controls. Even if I hold my foot on the brakes.
What I do like is the Super V8 cars at Bathurst. I get a much greater sense of elevation at Bathurst in this sim and it's really immersive. I'm not fast, but it's fun. Throttle control is needed so you don't spin, so you have to think about it. But it really feels like a proper rollercoaster ride in VR. Awesome! My GPU is struggling though. When I get the next GPU upgrade in, I will be playing this a lot more.

Sounds like same issue Wrighty is getting. It’s been flagged several times on the forum that immediately you gain control FFB goes full right.
V1.0.4.1 just been released and has some updates to both minis.
Which GPU are you looking at?

I'm waiting to see what AMD come up with at the end of October. Any GPU is going to be challenging to pass the finance department. However, I'm still on the older Fury card, so I'm looking at jumping a chipset at least.

Looking at close to €10k to fix it, so my toy fun is depleted for quite a while. The old central heating was 6 years old. One year out of warranty....

For the Porsche GT3 R, lower the ABS to 4 for a better corner entry response. And all cars that have treaded tire models are under review as of 1413.2157 version.
