I thought you said the balloon was blown up to about 10mm, and not 100mm...

Enough to make you eyes water 😂 But no barbs 😱 thankfully.
Bizarrely and I have no idea why I ended up doing I used to lecture GP practice prescription clerks on catheters, leg bags valves etc
It was a riveting teaching session with practical hands on teaching 😂
Hands on the catheter nothing else before you go there.

The company I did my apprenticeship with used to make those!
We also manufactured Endo's and Trachy's. I worked for Portex (Now Smiths Medical). The Tracheostomy Tubes had a 'pilot balloon' attached to tell you when the cuff was inflated. I still have a patent in my name for the pilot balloon we made in the 80's :-)
