Any ideas peeps.. I was having some trouble with graphics refresh on some tracks (especially the bridge on the kart track) so I finally got around to rebuilding an Intel core2 I had sat in the corner.. replacing the old AMD I was using.. anyway , I've had to download and reinstall rfactor and get a new key from ISI... I was using the trymedia version before.. but now XD doesn't work Searching on the web it appears it doesn't work with the current download version from Rfactor. (Version 1255G) Anyone know how far I have to go back to find a version that works with XD and is ISI key compatible??And do you have a copy for the rfactor.exe... I don't fancy downloading a random exe from t'internet. I thinks it's just the rfactor.exe I need. Cheers

Or you can use rfdynhud instead of XD? I think it's compatible with the rf version you are using. I think Kev is using the two together?

XD does not work with the latest version of rFactor. You need to use rFdynhud. It's easy to set up. I did mine following a post from Scoops - I think.

Cheers guys. I'll have another go at setting up rfdynhud. That doesn't appear to to working either... Probably something I've done, but the instructions aren't that complicated !! :-)

Good news.
The HUD editor isn't exactly obvious in its use but there are a few tutorials on YouTube that help so you can customise your own. I've only got as far as adding shift lights and removing some of the other bits for my race HUD.

Anyone updated to Java 8?
I am having problems with this now, so I may have to lose rFDynHud

Is reinstalling Java 6 an option?

Funny you should say that. That's exactly what I have done. It all works again now.
