The last plugin installed was rFdynhud 1.3 I've removed this and still getting the problem.
My last hope is a fresh install and load plugins back to where I was before the rFdynhud install but I can't help thinking it is something to do with the dataquisition plugin as that is the only one looking into the throttle position. If there is a data flow problem could it interrupt the data flow from the throttle to the game or am I talking complete and utter B*^^*£$% ?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hmm now half my post above is missing!
Ok I;ve reinstalled and loaded reelfeel and softth etc.
The last 2 plugins are rfdynhud and the motec dataaquisition.
Going to duplicate the current progress and load each into different installs. Hopefully one will work...

Do the pedals work properly outside of rFactor?
(I'm assuming Windows 7 here) Click Start, type "Set up USB game controllers" click on the program it finds, select your pedals and click Properties.This should allow you to check the pedals are working all right.
My throttle sensor went wonky and I bought a set of sensors from Fanatec - I still have the clutch sensor spare you could have if you can work around the shorter cable length.
The only other thing I can think of to check is the Sensitivity settings in rFactor (Customize/Settings/Controls/Controller 1/2)

I'm suspicious of the sensor but doesn't look to be the problem as it drops the throttle at the same point each lap if I'm flat out in top gear or on half throttle in 3rd.
Might order a couple of sensors just in case ? How much just out of interest.
Game controllers look fone
Looks like the fresh install without plugins is working fine so should be around tonight. Would be a pita to miss after all the practice I've done this week

310 laps with broken pedals? Impressive dedication.
The sensors were €18 + €6 p&p
It was a bit of a game trying to order them though, I had to fill in all my original purchase details on their standard form before they would accept the request, only for them to thoughtfully point out that it was way out of warantee.

310 laps with a completion rate of about 30%  Just gone through the form filling frustration. My email already has an account so can't register. Ok so must have done this when I had problems before ill reset forgotten password. You email address is not recognised! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Don't make it easy do they! |
