If you lose setups sent to you when you leave the track you can change the settings in rFactor that mean the setting will stay after you come out of the track and close down rFactor.
If you open your .plr file in notepad or similar and scroll down until you find "keep received setups ="
Change the number after this to effect the settings as below
0 to not accept setups 1 to keep until the next track 2 to keep until you close down rFactor 3 to keep for ever
Save the file and you're sorted.
if you're not confident changing files then leave well alone as this file holds all the settings for your user profile.

Thanks Scoops, I never knew that and find it really annoying when I realise I've quit and not saved the setup!

There are loads of settings within the .plr file than can be amended. You might want to look at the quick chat and set those to the text for the ballast figures or grid places . You can then map a key to it to save you typing from scratch 4 times each night? Just a thought?

It might be easier to create a batch file of commands in the rFactor root folder. If you had a file called setup.sig with the commands you need e.g.
/setmass CageyH 64 /setmass Wrighty 68 /setmass Andrew 20 /setmass RedSLR 19 /editgrid 1 Dunki /editgrid 2 Jif /editgrid 3 Scoops /editgrid 4 Andrew /editgrid 5 RayP /editgrid 6 RedSLR /editgrid 7 brucey /editgrid 8 wrighty then you just need to type /batch setup.sig to set everything up

Even better, thanks Ray It would only need editing once at the start of the eveing too which would be very easy.
