Thinking of upgrading to Win10 from Win7 now things have settled down. What's the consensus?

It's fine for me. I've had no issues. I've used my Microsoft account as a sign in, but you don't have to use one. You can create a local account.
It's worth checking any devices (printers) for drivers too.

Thanks. Just checked my printer and it should be ok, so I'll get it done in the next few weeks.

Windows 10 has done its mega update and messed up my G27 settings ie wheel not working whatsoever!
Went onto the Logitech site to download drivers/profile but none exist for a 3 pedal set up ....... so searched and found an older 3 pedal set up.
Downloaded the drivers/profile but I can't get the wheel to 'feel' the same as before. Previously the wheel would only turn a certain amount of degrees and after that there would be no effect on the steering. Now I can turn the wheel through its full rotation and this keeps turning the steering, it's like not having a quick rack. How/what do I do to enable quicker steering?

Sounds like the 'degrees of rotation' setting has gone up. See if you can find the setting for that and knock it down. Launch the Logitech Profiler > Options > Global Device Settings and then check the degrees of rotation.

and one other thing to try. Remove the USB plug for your wheel and re plug it in. The wheel should reset by doing it's "Logitech Dance". I find I have to do this for my Logitech GT wheel.
