Did the basics (logitec wheel and in game adjustments) with the instructions John and the feel is very much improved with only one small down side. This being the rattle and noise when riding rumble strips. I'm sure there's a way of ironing it out but would take a bit more heavy reading .

I've installed the Pedal and FFB overlay and it showed I had clipping on the FFB in the corners so I had full FFB through the corners with no definition. I played with the settings and in the fanatec controller app and most of the clipping has gone but the FFB is lighter so I need to up the FFB multiplier a bit.
I think the feel is slightly better but not sure I'm any faster?
The wheel check app looks err comprehensive to say the least but it looks able to show up issues with the wheel. Need to play with it a bit though.

Tony I've tried the following settings; something I found on the internet;- Steering rate: 1% FFB Smoothing:9 Car specific FFB multi: 0.25 Steering wheel range: 180' FFB minimum torque: 13%
Not much torque feel but not as 'snatchy' over the rumbles.

Did you change the Logitec wheel settings to the ones on the thread Simon posted?

Yes. Adjusted them and the ones in the game as per the link and seems to work well As previously mentioned only issue being the rumble strip noise but suppose in real life it would be quite realistic. Adjustment takes a couple of seconds and you can always write down present ones and return them if you don't like it.

With the new build you can save favourite online servers. Right click the server, RSVR for us and click the save as favourite. Then you can filter the online servers at the top for favourites.

Just found an easier way to change name in game.
Click the twin crash helmets. Click on your email top right hand side of the screen. Edit your first name to be your name in game Click on Save Edits
Then for me at least it shows
First Name: Scoops Last Name: Nickname: family_cooper
Which gives me Scoops in game.

Hello!
A quick rFactor2 question. I am hoping to start making a few appearances on a Friday night soon, so I need to buy rFactor2. Do I need to buy the version with the online subscription?

Hi Kev good to hear from you, hope everything going well with fatherhood?
For rFactor 2 yes you need the online subscription I think most of us have the lifetime subscription?
Without the subscription you can't join online races.

Everything has been fantastic so far. We are lucky to have a happy baby, who is easy to look after and sleeps and eats well.
Having just missed the Steam sale, I may have to wait until the next one before I make the purchase. I was hoping to play on Friday, as the littl'un is away on holiday, but I expect Mrs H will have plans to go out.
