This is the Eve setup transferred to the Spark with a few tweaks for Brianza so longer gearing, tyre pressures, camber and ride height. But each of these changes is only a click or two away from the original. You can import an Eve setup for the Spark by editing the first line in the setup file to the same as that for a Spark in Notepad and saving in the setting for that track. Sparkeve 1.svm (4.2 KB)

I don't often get time to tweak setups for our Friday night racing, but this week I've actually had some time to do so. This is my Monaco 1966 setup for the Spark F2. It's not too different from the default. I just tried to make it more stable for me and my driving style. Si 15min.svm (4.25 KB) It's fuel for 15mins approx. Just double the fuel for a 30min race . Not tested anymore than 5 laps though due to causing an incident, so I'm not sure of the tyre pressures etc over a race distance. I've played with the camber to hopefully improve the grip compare to a more high speed circuit. Ride height raised a tiny amount. Gears modded, but not perfect. Suspension softened very slightly from default. You may find it oversteers on 'lift off' of throttle. This was planned for issues I had at Massenet and understeer. If this is too much then reduce the 'Coast' setting down to 40%. Best lap time so far was a 1:33.497 that can be improved, if you want to risk it even more. However, I think that's competitive enough for Friday. Just don't push for a lap time by braking too late and try and drive neatly. You'll be surprised at how faster you'll be for correct corner entry.

Reducing the coast will potentially give you more oversteer. If you want less oversteer, increase the coast for the off throttle stability.

Well there goes my setup theory.... As I just dropped the coast to 50% and found I could run more consistent laps. Still haven't managed 10 laps (15 min) without a major incident. So I'm not confident at all of finishing a race on Friday. But given my boss just rang to tell me that one of the team has handed their notice in, I could be very busy in the near future and therefore this could be my last Friday night race for a while.

If the change works, then you may have found the sweet spot. I like a high coast setting to reduce the amount of tail out action I get.
I hope to see you continuing regular appearances on Friday night.

We will keep our fingers crossed for you Si and hope your work load doesn't increase too much.
