I had a few issues updating my Teamspeak last night. I'm still using Windows 7. One updated I kept getting an error screen. I even turned my pc off and on again with no luck. I sorted it by running the troubleshooting program in the end.
Just a heads up before tonight. Maybe worth not updating TeamSpeak until after the race!
Bruce.

Mine updated a day or so ago with no issues. Might be worth uninstalling it and then reinstalling?

Been having a few problems with TS so asking for any helpful pointers.
On the other evening and listening to everyone talk so connected okay, but nobody could hear me. First thing I did was changed headset to see if it was the Mike, but same result. I then re assigned button and yet again same result. Went to the TS page and when depressing the button the blue light would randomly flicker but only for a split second, then not work again. I then changed the jack plugs from the rear of my computer to the front ones still no good (not sure though if I have to reassign them as default). So went into rf2 again and re assigned the button, then back to original one and hey presto it worked for the rest of the evening. Went on the following evening and back to square one, could hear but not communicate. Any idea what I should try next or where the fault could be?

Went to the TS page and when depressing the button the blue light would randomly flicker but only for a split second, then not work again. So the issue is with the button as flickering isn't good. Try a different button or a try a key on the keyboard to see if that works. Then you can rule out jack plugs \ cables \ headsets etc.

Tried that Si and didn't work first time, then after trying again it seemed to sort it out. Unfortunately the next time I logged on it was back to the way it was, listening but unable to communicate

"So went into rf2 again and re assigned the button"
Not sure what you mean but there isn't a button in rF2 for TeamSpeak?
Flickering doesn't sound like a software problem though more like a mechanical contact issue to me, but I'm no expert.

I agree with Simon, it doesn't sound like a software issue. Have you tried assigning the button to something totally unrelated and retesting?

Going to switch it on in a minute and try and resolve. Yes Andrew tried the button above normal one as well as the return on keyboard and neither worked. What I mean by in "rf2" is re assigning the button whilst on the server and in game i.e. settings - controls - chat - assign button. Edited to say, whilst in game and on server I depressed button and everytime the assigned button flashed in controls (as though it was working).

I've never assigned the TS button in rF2 only ever done it in the TS options menu with the wheel plugged in so it finds it.

Since updating TS I haven't been able to find out how to run the test anymore (use to be simple ). I've looked a couple of times without success so not sure how to assign it in TS

Okay still not good. Tried to re assign another button and although in rf2 it seems to work it only occasionally blinks in TS. what I mean by that is whilst re assigning it via rf2 in settings, controls, chat PTT, it blinks every time I depress the button (assume that the assigned button is working). I then go back to TS and every time I depress button it only occasionally comes on . could it be an issue with my TS and if so should I delete it and then re install?

Weird...but yeah nothing to lose by deleting and reinstalling.

Okay that didn't work. when I re installed, it went straight back to my last TS3 so didn't have to assign anything. I was hoping to go through the full set up procedure to give me a chance to test mic, as that seem like the only way to do it through TS. I've tested the mic using Windows (voice recognition) and it works fine. so has to be either TS3 or nearly every button on my wheel and keyboard is knackered work
