If anyone else is running softTH and wants to run a HUD. RFDynHUD ver 1.3 now allows dll chaining so is compatible.

I haven't had a chance to put any bespoke widgets yet but to get working with default widgets in place was easy. Assuming you have softth installed Download version 1.3 of rfDynHud from rfactor central. Follow this www.gtr3.co.uk/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=60&It took me less than 5 mins last night

Link now broken so steps below.
Ensure you have Java 6 installed as later versions don't work with rfDynHud Rename the Softth D3D9.dll to D3D9_2.dll Install extract rfDynHud to the folders it wants to go into. Launch rFactor and it should be fine although screen settings may be different if so exit and run rfconfig and reset them
