Don't you find it slightly ironic that Airbus have to build a plane to deliver their own parts to build their own plane? Still very impressive though.

I find it more ironic that Airbus used to use a modified Boeing to do the same job many years ago.
Boeing also have their own freighter for shipping aircraft sections.

That is quite cool, if slightly ugly! Has it got potential to be sold as a freighter for other large loads or will it just be used in-house?

Limited type certification is planned, and currently only being built for in house use.
