Hi guys,
I've been a bit busy over the past few months
I sold the Elise and have returned to Caterham (150 Sigma SV) ownership
We have been carrying out major renovations to the house and basically living in the room where my gaming seat is for the last 4 months which severely restricted my access to gaming time as my wife preferred to what the telly rather than me driving an imaginary car!
I have also had an adrenal gland removed......which hurt .....a lot! I may also be having another operation in the next few months on my parathyroid gland which will be something to look forward to! but hopefully I'll be sored after that
However, still interested in SIM racing! looking at the site, it seems people are buying car mods and competing in rally stages. Are there any plans for a fairly simple race series that doesn't require hours of practice, set ups or reconfiguring software and hardware?
I appreciate I'm not exactly an active member but would like to participate in some live SIM racing if possible.
The Rally Cross sounds interesting but I'm not sure if that's going ahead or what is involved.
Are you still racing on a Friday night?
Bruce.

Hi Brucey, sounds like an interesting time (other than the medical issues). Hope your feeling well and the future op resolves your issues . Presently it’s quite season (hot weather) so just fun races on a Friday night, “well fun if you count going round and round a big roundabout fun” (only joking Simon). Think the first Seson race will be in September, but not sure. The rally stuff is with Dirt Rally and takes place any time you want to log on to the server, with different stages. I haven’t managed to get into it as I’m finding it hard to get the settings correct on my wheel “presently it’s like fighting a very strong Octopus pulling at my wheel”

Sooooo, what are you currently racing on a Friday night?
Should I just login to RF2 online and see what loads up?

Brucey, the cars for tomorrow are easy to drive and a few laps will get you back into it. Bloody hell Bruce, if I can drive them, well anyone can

Hi Brucey welcome back.
As the others have said just a few fun races no need to practice if you don't want to just turn up and drive.
If you've not loaded up rF2 in a while I would suggest doing so before sitting down to race there might be a few updates to be run and it could take a while.
