Yeah, the Sim Experience one I have is upgradable. You can upgrade to traction loss as well as have pedals wheel etc move with seat. Wonāt happen for me thoughš„. Firstly, I donāt have enough room. Secondly, Iāve fitted mine to my profile rather than use the framework, and you need to extend the original frame to build up to the next levels 3 to 4 to 5 etc.

Yeah the SFX100 gives the traction loss but itās not via lateral movement of the seat.

I know itās an old thread, but thought I would resurrect by asking, āhave you got yours up and running yet Simon?ā. Whilst messing about this week I started the game without my chair and never realised how use to it I have become. Originally I enjoyed it, but didnāt think it was a necessity, how wrong I was. I now think, if my chair was ever to break, it would become essential to either repair immediately or replace. They add that much to the enjoyment

Not bad the time have most of the bits sat ready to go and some 3D printing still to do so it will get done but work is still busy and not going to happen anytime soon sadly.

I know where you are coming from with not wanting to go back. Have the same issue with VR, even with all its shortcomings such as reduced image quality etc. using flat screen now is awful.

OK pulled the trigger on the final expensive bits for the SFX-100 build.
3D printer now running 24/7 (as Iām home to keep an eye on it) Should be another week to finish the printing. In total itās about 200 hours of printing.
Two actuators all but built.
As soon as itās up and running Iāll feed back but not heard a bad word and to date all has been easy to literally bolt together.

Servo motors arrived a couple of days ago and sheās alive š Well I say alive itās all bolted on and wired up and powered up which lifted each corner of the rig up.
Now need to test in game but for some reason win 10 isnāt seeing my keyboard so I probably have some emi issues but thatās enough for tonight.
