I feel another case of spec creep. Ask Si about this 😉

Funnily enough, this card looks the best bang for buck - here
I don't think it will fit my case though, so I may look at an 8Gb Rx 480 instead. it turns out it is only 10mm longer than my current card. More investigation is required tonight.

That CPU on that board is really easy to overclock on that motherboard (for someone with your ability). It's just a few BIOS settings. So ignore that bit and just add up the parts in the bundle to see if they come cheaper on their own. I would do it for you, but I only have my mobile with me. But, yes that board, CPU, mem are very good. I went for an all in one water cooler for my CPU instead of air cooling. So I can't comment on the cooler. But it must be pretty good for OC to ship with an overclocked CPU.

Thanks Si. £40 cheaper. What water cooler did you get? A low noise PC is tempting.
Just found the answer in your thread.

It was the Corsair Hydra 110i GTX CPU cooler. I think it was just under the £100 marker. TBH, it was probably overkill. The hardest part was fitting the fans in the case. So if you get a double fan one then you need a good case. Andrew has the Corsair 80 (single fan) with the same CPU I believe and he is overclocking his no problem too. So, if you're worried about your case then the single fan option will be an easier fit and cheaper.
The case I bought though I do really like. My old PC case was very very old.
I just wanted to remove the air cooler for the CPU. I found it just gathered dust and was awkward to clean. The water cooling option is a lot quieter and I have no stress in pushing the overclock.
Also the Corsair one I bought comes with the thermal paste already applied. This I wasn't aware of and I ended up not using the thermal paste that I bought. So that also makes it easier to fit to the CPU.

Looks a great bundle Kev as Si says and great value for money too.
Also as Si says, I've got the H80i cooler and it's been amazing, really quiet and trouble free. My i5 3570k has been overclocked at 4.4Ghz and stable for several years now and when I tested it back to back with the air cooler when I built the PC, the chip was 10-15 degrees cooler under load. It's worth noting it's not a single fan though, it's 2 fans and a radiator stacked on top of each other but still doesn't take up much room.

The H80 should fit my case nicely. I may need a few other fans to push a bit of air around it though.

A longer graphics card will not fit. Back to the drawing board...

That looks like a good option. Thanks. I may have a look at the R9 390 as well, as it seems to be a bit quicker.
