Hmmm could be worth a try esp as it’s a BT hub.

Shut down pretty much everything I have and ran official paid content.
GPU max load 67%
Nothing on the GPU anywhere near max. Didn’t get as much stuttering but still there to enough of a level that I couldn’t race online.
I’ll keep looking but Im starting to think physics and CPU based and not GPU at all?
Im running a standard AMD 8350 @ stock speeds? Win 10

What are your CPU temperatures running at? You could be having a thermal bottleneck, so it may be worth popping the cooler off and replacing the paste.

Just tried same paid content etc and monitored CPU
CPU temp min 63 max77 ave 69 CPU utilisation 17 max 86 ave 38
I’ll have a look at core parking later

Yep now tried core parking and the stutters are different but still there
Instead of being a few seconds long they are now a split second but much more frequent. So now loosing 2 secs a lap but at least no crashing so often

So that surely points at the CPU?

Min temp looks a bit high, and as those are the CPU core temps averaged, I would look at the Intel CPU software and put the CPU through a stress test and see if you have an issue on a particular core going hotter.

I am thinking its the CPU.
Just tried a few laps on line and back to the original stutters with the BT20 and Hockenheim
The min temp wasn't from cold

If the CPU is bottlenecking, could it be the memory?

16GB should be enough?

It’s an AMD 8350 AM3+ socket so I am wondering if it’s reached the end of its usefulness? With several updates since I have been racing it’s possible it has been passed by? It’s 5 years old to me and they first came out in 2012 ?
It’s not dead and gone yet though

I meant it could be defective.
